What you're seeing:
- This is a completely filled out Debtor Info Page, with all the information BkAssist will ever need about the debtor herself.
- BkAssist works with people and things rather than with bankruptcy forms. We consider certain things to be attributes of
the debtor as a person, so you provide the information on this page:
- Other names - These are the "also known as", "formerly doing business as," etc., names that get reported on the
first page of form B1.
- Other addresses - This information will be reported on line 15 of the Statement of Financial Affairs.
- Business - This is where you supply details about any business the Debtor has operated in the past 6 years.
Much of the information you supply will eventually appear on lines 18 ff. of the Statement of Financial Affairs.
You may also supply projected and historical income and expense summaries that help BkAssist complete the means
test and Schedules I and J.
- Judgment for possession - This is where you provide information about a landlord who has attempted to evict a
residential tenant and who has a judgment "for possession."
- Mailing address - Provide any mailing address(es) that are different from the residence address shown on this form.
- Community property spouses - This information will be used on line 16 of the Statement of Financial Affairs.
- Guardianship situations - If the debtor is not competent to sign her own petition, you can supply the name of a guardian or other representative.
If the debtor were married, you'd click now on the "Spouse" tab in order to provide information about Mary's spouse. Since Mary is divorced,
the Spouse Page will be empty. So, advance to the Dependents Page...
