What you're seeing:
- This is the Dependents/Others Info page, where you enter the relationships and ages of dependents of the Debtor and the names of other persons who live in the household.
- When the debtor and someone else share custody of a minor child, you can easily indicate the percentage of time the child spends in the debtor's household.
This information facilitates means test computations in the Fourth Circuit, where a "blended" approach to household size is required.
- When the debtor and spouse are separated, you can easily indicate if the child resides in the spouse's separate household.
- The information you enter here appears on Schedule I and also helps BkAssist complete the means test.
- When modernized forms become effective on December 1, 2013, information about dependents and other residents of the household will appear on the redesigned Schedule J.
